Enter the LG 8164 DVD-ROM drive: once fitted with the separately available 8164 solderless DVD adapter, your Xbox will be able to read all CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVD-R, DVD+R and original Xbox discs (once flashed with the latest firmware).

Your Xbox will no longer pick and choose what discs to work with, but have the full functionality of a PC drive. In addition, the disc read speed is far superior and faster read speed = faster load times.
