Re-engineered specifically for the slimmer 2000 and new 3000 model of the Sony PSP, the MAX Power Blue Digital - Universal Mode Battery lets you enable Service Mode on the PSP 2000 and also works as a normal regular battery on the PSP 2000 and new PSP3000 (also known as the BRITE).

(Selectable service tool mode is only accessible for the 2000 slim models. For the 3000 models service mode is not selectable or available and can only be used a regular normal battery)

It can work in exactly the same way as the best-selling red slim MAX Power TOOL battery for the original PSP 2000 Slim, but includes the smart new features of being able to switch the Service Mode functionality on and off (Switch from tool mode to normal battery or normal battery to tool mode) and has built-in power indicator flashing LEDs. This is a clever useful feature to indicate charge remaining and how much life in battery.
